Last Minute Baking

I did some last minute baking today. One for us and two to share. I used Jim Lahey's no knead bread recipe (which is amazing if you haven't tried it). You can find it here. I also made the Roadhouse cinnamon honey butter to go with it.

For the cinnamon honey butter I used two sticks of butter, 1/2 cup confectioner sugar, 1/2 cup honey & a teaspoon cinnamon. I piped it into two small jars. (You need one stick of butter for the small jars).

I wrapped the loaves in parchment paper, tied with jute, added some fresh greens and a tag.

Are you still baking and getting ready?

Until next time,
Susan

  2. So great to find your blog again. I somehow wasn't able to find it for a while. In any case thanks for sharing the recipe for the Roadhouse cinnamon honey butter. I love that stuff.
